Audubon Louisiana Nature Center
The ALNC opened in 2017 in New Orleans East. Rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina, all buildings, theming , graphics, murals, sculptures, boardwalks, gardens and trails were newly created. Along with other Audubon staff, and outside vendors, we created the interpretive space with exhibits designed for groups of all ages. We wanted to keep the graphics and art rustic to fit into the nature center theme.
Our portion of this job involved exhibit design, graphic design, art direction, and project management of external contractors.
Budget: $5 million • Interpretive Budget: $600,000 • Project Timeline: 2.5 years
